The Nairobi County has announced a crackdown targeting all landlords and tenants facilitating unlawful dumping in Eastleigh.

In a statement on his official X account on Tuesday, September 2, Mosiria claimed that the crackdown, which will be similar to the one conducted in Pipeline Estate, will last for the next two weeks.  According to Mosiria, his department will apprehend tenants and landlords who dump their waste unlawfully and take legal action against them.

Furthermore, Mosiria has further said that his department has also kick-started a crackdown targeting all business premises, especially hotels and shopping malls that are dumping their waste along the roads and in the water drainage system.
