Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has once again launched a scathing attack on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over the remarks he made when meeting opposition leaders on Monday.
In a self-recorded video on Wednesday evening, Sudi debunked Gachagua's claim that he had helped President William Ruto ascend to power due to his popularity in the Mount Kenya Region.
Sudi relayed that there were several other Mount Kenya politicians with the capacity to serve in the second-in-command position, adding that Gachagua was one of the least preferred of them when the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) held a vote prior to choosing Ruto's running mate. "You are saying that you convened people in your home to strategise on Ruto's Presidency, but you were only given the opportunity to serve as running mate just three months before the elections.
We had already planned all these issues," Sudi stated.
