16 people were injured in a tragic road accident along the busy Nakuru-Nairobi Highway at Kinungi Soweto on Saturday, March 8, in the afternoon.
In a statement after the accident, the St John Ambulance Kenya reported that 16 people were injured when a personal car had a head-on collision with a matatu.
The injured were rushed to Naivasha Sub-County Hospital for specialized care. "Head-on collision at Kinungi Soweto involving a personal car and a matatu leaves 16 casualties," the statement reads.
