Plans are nearly complete to build an Indoor Arena in Wote town, according to Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr.
Mutula disclosed that the arena is currently at design stage while adding that the government intends to improve on the talents and skills of the youth in the county.
He noted that the county government also intends to produce athletes who will compete in the global space with a view of earning an income to uplift their lives especially the unemployed youth. "Our county government has initiated the construction of an Indoor Arena in Wote town.
This will give the youths opportunity to realize their talents and skills to enable them compete in the global arena," said Mutula Jr in his Wote office while addressing the media.
