The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has revealed several issues that have hampered the payment of some examiners who administered the 2024 national examinations.
KNEC released a statement on Wednesday, March 12, indicating that a name mismatch was one of the key issues affecting payment disbursement.
According to the council, some examiners' names in the Contracted Professionals System (CP2) did not match the M-Pesa name associated with the phone number provided, leading to errors.
In its statement, KNEC urged affected examiners to create a new CP2 account with a registered Safaricom (M-Pesa) number that matches the details on their identity cards.
