The Supreme Court will rule on Friday whether or not to uphold a ban against lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi and his firm from appearing before it.

In a statement by the Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Benard Kasavuli, the Supreme Court confirmed that it will sit to determine the matter that has put the Apex Court in the limelight.

This comes after a lawyer, Miiri Julius, moved to court under a certificate of urgency, petitioning the court to reverse its decision where it barred Ahmednassir and his legal firm from appearing before the Supreme Court.  ''Take Notice that the ruling in this matter will be delivered via email on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10.00am before the Supreme Court of Kenya,'' a statement from the Supreme Court read in part.  The front view of the Supreme Court of Kenya building in Nairobi.
