Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Justin Muturi has flagged as fake a resignation letter making rounds on social media purporting that he has resigned from his position.

In the letter allegedly signed by him, it was claimed that the CS was resigning due to unforeseen challenges in his ministry that made him feel the need to step back. "Serving in government has been a great honour, and I sincerely thank His Excellency President William Ruto for the opportunity to be part of his administration.

However, due to unforeseen challenges in executing my role effectively, I feel it is in the best interest of all involved that I take a step back," the fake letter read in part.

However, while clarifying, the CS has rubbished the letter, revealing that his previous stance on not resigning and forging on with his role continues.
