A foreigner whose nationality is yet to be established was on Thursday afternoon killed by President William Ruto's speeding motorcade.
The incident occurred along Ngong Road near the Adams Acarde area when one of the speeding vehicles in Ruto's convoy ran over a middle-aged pedestrian, killing him on the spot.
Reports suggest that the male victim was knocked down while attempting to cross the busy road while Ruto's motorcade was travelling from Lang'ata and heading to Kibra for the commissioning of a project.
The tragedy quickly attracted the attention of other road users who rushed to the scene to save the man only to discover that the victim was already dead.
