The Social Health Authority (SHA) has warned that a payment analysis document making rounds through the internet purporting to list the total payouts made by the authority since its implementation in October is fake.
In a statement on March 15, SHA warned healthcare providers and the larger public that the figures listed in the PDF document were inaccurate. "The Social Health Authority (SHA) cautions healthcare providers and the public that the payment analysis document linked at is fake and should be ignored," part of the statement read.
The statement further informed healthcare facilities that updates regarding the processing of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) would be communicated directly to them and not through intermediaries.
