Kenya took all three top-three spots in the 30th edition of the Rome Marathon in Italy, achieving a podium sweep to bag millions of shillings.  In the marathon held over the weekend, Kenyan athletes including Robert Ng'eno, Brian Kipsang, and Joshua Kogo, took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places respectively.

The 30th edition of the Rome Marathon, held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, attracted over 27,000 participants from different nationalities.  Ng'eno took home €16.500,00 (Ksh2.3 million) while Kipsang and Kogo will take Ksh1.1 million and Ksh760,964.95 respectively.  Kenyan atheletes Robert Ng'eno, Brian Kipsang, and Joshua Kogowho took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places respectively in the 30 edition of Rome Marathon in Italy on March 16, 2025.

Photo Ministry of Foreign Affairs The 42-kilometer race started at Via dei Fori Imperiali, near the Colosseum, and ended at the historic Circo Massimo. 30-year-old Robert Ng'eno clocked 2:07:35 to claim victory, with Kipsang Brian following closely at 2:07:58.

Joshua Kogo secured third place, finishing in 2:08:01.
