The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued a warning to drivers as heavy rains are forecast across various parts of the country this week.
With the weather expected to create challenging driving conditions, the NTSA has urged motorists to take extra precautions to ensure safety on the roads.
In a notice on Tuesday, the authority emphasised the importance of using fog lights to reduce glare and improve visibility during heavy rain, fog, or mist.
According to the latest seven-day weather forecast from the Kenya Meteorological Department, valid from 18th to 24th March 2025, significant rainfall is expected in several regions, including the highlands east and west of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and parts of the Coast.
