Reverend Isaac Mutuma, the newly sworn-in Meru County Governor pledged to prioritise the welfare of workers and civil servants, acknowledging the challenges they faced under the previous administration by Kawira Mwangaza.
All the workers and civil servants in the county have been promised a better working environment and welfare moving forward as the governor outlined his first agenda to ensure the workers no longer experience the pain they went through before.
Mutuma was sworn in as Meru's new governor on Monday, March 17, after former Governor Kawira Mwangaza lost the battle for the gubernatorial seat in court.
He noted that apart from the people of Meru, workers and civil servants in the county had suffered most during Mwangaza's reign and he was going to change the situation.
