The CS for Sports Salim Mvurya has exuded confidence that this year's edition of World Rally Championship (WRC) will be a success.
Hours into the global event, the CS noted that the number of international visitors had shot up with hotels recording full bookings.
Addressing the press at the Service Park in Naivasha, Mvurya said that the rally had given business opportunities to tens of local youths and traders.
The CS said that all the necessary measures had been put in place ahead of the event that kicks off in Nairobi and set to be flagged off by the President. "We are all set for the rally and all plans are ready for this event that has attracted hundreds of local and international visitors," he said.
