The United Democratic Alliance(UDA) has extended the registration deadline for aspirants for the upcoming Phase II of the grassroots elections.

In a statement on Saturday, March 22, the National Election Board (NEB) Chairman Anthony Mwaura announced that the registration period has been extended from March 21 to March 26 Midnight. "The National Elections Board of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) hereby issues an official notice regarding the Extension of the candidate registration period for the upcoming Phase II elections.  The registration deadline has been extended from March 21, 2025, to March 26, 2025, midnight," he stated. "Aspirants are encouraged to take advantage of this extension to ensure their participation in the grassroots elections scheduled for 11th and 12th April 2025," he added.
