Business owners have been urged to prioritize employee's health and well-being to boost workplace productivity and long-term success.

According to the World Health Organization, poor mental health at the workplace costs the global economy US$ 1 trillion per year in lost productivity.

Speaking at an Iftar dinner event for Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) members in Mombasa, Lifecare International Insurance Brokers Team Lead, Umema Abdulhusein, highlighted the critical link between employee well-being and business performance.

Abdulhusein emphasized that studies show that one of the biggest predictors of a company's long-term success was not strategy or technology but the well-being of its people.
