Suspected Pokot bandits killed a Baringo East retired assistant chief on Saturday morning before fleeing the area.
Confirming the incident, Loosuk location senior chief Mr.
Philip Lerno told KNA in the Loosuk trading center that the deceased was killed inside his Manyatta before the crack of dawn.
The deceased was a retired assistant chief of Pura Sub Location in Samburu Central.
