Nick Mudimba, a CGTN senior reporter who previously worked at KTN and Switch TV, is dead.
Mudimba reportedly passed away on Sunday evening at his home in Syokimau, Machakos County, after battling an illness that included high levels of uric acid which he had been treated for on Saturday.
According to reports, he had been recovering steadily.
He even watched the Harambee Stars football match with the Gabon national team before he collapsed, ending his illustrious life as a renowned sports journalist.
