The Kenya Revenue Authority(KRA) has issued a notice to over 100 business companies whose goods have been lying at the authority's warehouses without being picked.

In a notice published on the gazette notice, KRA cautioned the companies to clear the goods and have them removed from its premises within a month or risk being auctioned.  The goods include various assortments that were to be delivered to Kenya and neighbouring South Sudan and are currently being held in shipping vessels at the KRA Customs Warehouse Keeper and the Inland Container Depot in Nairobi.

The goods, including upholstery materials, electronics, industrial machinery, and textiles, will be sold through a public auction in May this year.
