President William Ruto has taken a swipe at former Attorney General Justin Muturi, who is currently the Public Service Cabinet Secretary, terming him incompetent.

Speaking on Tuesday evening during an Iftar session with the Muslim community at State House in Nairobi, Ruto said Muturi was unskilled in handling legal matters.

The Head of State criticised Muturi for allegedly delaying the establishment of a Waqf, a charitable endowment in which a Muslim dedicates property for religious, charitable, or public benefit.

Addressing the congregation, the president assured the Muslim community that under the current Attorney General, Dorcas Oduor, the government would establish the commission.
