Twelve more Nursing students from Mount Kenya University (MKU) are set to pursue apprenticeship opportunities in German hospitals following a partnership between MKU and other institutions in the European country.

This brings the number of Nursing students from the institution pursuing apprenticeship opportunities in German hospitals to 25, after the institution sent a team of five students in the first cohort and another eight in the second.

The University's Vice Chancellor Prof Deogratius Jaganyi said the students will depart for Germany to pursue their apprenticeship at Hochschule Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, their main partner in offering apprenticeship opportunities to their students.
