The Ministry of Defence has announced a public auction of vehicles, equipment, and general stores in Nanyuki, Mombasa, Nairobi and Nakuru.

All Kenyans interested in owning ex-military vehicles and other items have been invited to view the items on public auction from April 7. "The vehicles, equipment and boarded general stores can be viewed from April 7 during working days only (Monday to Friday) except on public holidays in Nairobi, Nanyuki, Nakuru and Mombasa starting from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm after purchasing the catalogue, " the notice read in part.

Interested bidders have been invited to view the vehicles and items in the Nairobi region (DEFOD - Kahawa), 12 Engrs - Thika, 23 OCC-Lanet, Nanyuki region (43 OCC) and Coastal Region (Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe and Mariakani Garrison), as outlined by the Ministry.
