APS Bomet and Fortune Sacco battled to a 1-1 draw in a fiercely contested NSL match at Bomet IAAF Stadium over the weekend.
Fortune Sacco's Askoe Lucas opened the scoring first in the 31st minute, putting the Visitors ahead.
However, APS Bomet's Duke Muhoro responded just before halftime, levelling the score in the 45th minute.
Fortune Sacco missed a goal after having an offside goal in the second half. "The game was competitive but the race has not been that bad; we've tried, though the gap between us and our opponent in the league ranking is big," said Manasseh Opunde, Fortune Sacco player.
