Rains are expected over the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, and North-western Kenya, the Meteorological Department has said.
In its five-day weather report published on Thursday, July 17, Kenya Met revealed that moderate to heavy rains were expected in the aforementioned regions between Friday this week to Tuesday next week.
Notably, counties located in the Lake Victoria Basin and Rift Valley regions were projected to receive heavy rainfall, particularly in the afternoon.
According to the weather department, the rains would be accompanied by thunderstorms.
