Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has lamented over being leaped out of office after he received a handing over letter on Friday evening.

The letter directed him to hand over to Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi by Friday last week.

Speaking on Tuesday during the handing over ceremony at the Ministry offices at Railways, Nairobi, Muturi, said 'the earliest we could do that was today Tuesday as his office had to prepare handover notes. "Unfortunately as would be expected nobody had prepared any handover notes.

It was fair that we prepare something at least prepare what it is that has been done, not just during my short tenure of seven months and 15 days, but also since the Kenya Kwanza administration took office," he said.   He added: "Therefore in fairness, we had to get something that should need arise in the intervening period or should there be any query he has stuff from which he can respond to any issue relating to the ministry." Muturi handed over barely a week after he was shown the door by President Ruto in the latest Cabinet shake-up that saw Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Kiringa Ruku appointed to replace him.
