MP Wamuchomba Asks Ruto to Visit Mt Kenya Every 3 Months, After Reports He Splashed Cash on Hired Crowds

Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba, on Sunday, April 6, jested that President William Ruto should visit the Mount Kenya region every three months.

Taking to social media, Wamuchomba noted that President Ruto's visit to the region was a great opportunity for the residents to earn money from attending the rallies.

This is after reports emerged that the government spent millions in the mobilisation of crowds, which was spearheaded by governors, MPs, and MCAs, as well as national government administration officers. "Mr President should visit Mt Kenya every three months.

It was a good ATM for the locals and a political mirror for him and his Yes MPs," the vocal MP stated.
