Following Lee Kinyanjui's appointment as Cabinet Secretary for Trade, Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu has officially ratified leadership changes in the Ubuntu Peoples Forum (UPF), confirming his removal from the party's leadership.
In an announcement published in the gazette notice, Nderitu approved the change of leadership within the UPF party and stated that Samuel Kinya Rukahu would now lead the party towards the 2027 elections.
Erick Mburu Murage will continue serving as Deputy Party Leader in charge of Finance and National Coordination.
David Ngugi Mwaniki will retain his role as National Vice-Chairperson - Operations, working alongside Abdulahi Adan Mohammed and Murguya Wilson, who will also remain as National Vice-Chairpersons.
