Migori County has conducted a one-week training for all revenue collectors on new technology to reduce fraudsters and increase on source revenue for the county.
Speaking during the exercise conducted in Uriri Sub County, Information Technology Expert David Ligawa said that the training marks the end of their training specializing in revenue collectors embracing new technology. "The training marks the last day of our training, and our focus is to ensure the revenue collector embraces the new technology in revenue collection," said Mr.
Ligawa.
The IT expert revealed that the new technologies they were training with will be utilized by smartphones, Bluetooth printers, and the customer's USSD code *483*440# for revenue payment.
