Chaos has erupted at the Machakos County Assembly over the impeachment of Speaker Anne Kiusya amid rumbles over a plot to impeach Governor Wavinya Ndeti.
The Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) allied to Kiusya clashed with those seeking his removal from office.
The assembly is in a tiff after the Machakos County Assembly Deputy Speaker, Stephen Mwanthi, accused Kiusya of failing to account for the use of public funds. "For the past two and a half years, she has never explained how money is spent in the Assembly.
