A post-mortem has revealed how Multimedia University student Sylvia Kemunto passed away, contradicting her alleged killer's narratives.

Government pathologist Dr.

Johansen Oduor announced the post-mortem results on Tuesday, April 8, revealing Kemunto passed away from strangulation, confirming initial suspicion of foul play.  According to Oduor, there were defensive wounds on the deceased's body, indicating a possible struggle with her assailant, who is believed to have overpowered her.  The post-mortem results came just days after Kemunto's lifeless body was discovered in a water tank within the university compound.
