The Zombie is a sweet and fruity cocktail from the Tiki tradition, made with different fruit juices, liqueurs and several kinds of rum.

It was first made in late 1934 by Donn Beach at his Hollywood bar and restaurant, Don the Beachcomber.

The drink got even more attention when it was served at the 1939 New York World's Fair.

The story goes that Donn Beach created the Zombie cocktail to help a customer get over a hangover before a business meeting.
