At least seven people have died, while others are nursing injuries following a road accident at the Kamandura Junction in Nakuru along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
The accident occurred on Friday morning at around 9 am after a 14-seater matatu lost control and overturned, killing several people on the spot.
Residents who were near the scene of the accident rushed and helped in retrieving the victims from the wreckage before rushing them to Tgoni Hospital.
According to witnesses, the matatu, which was full of passengers, was en route to Kijabe in Kiambu County when it got involved in the accident.
