The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday, April 11, announced the arrest of an infamous robbery with violence gang that was at the heart of various incidents in Narok.
The sleuths revealed that the gang of three members was nabbed in a sting operation after receiving a distress call of an ongoing robbery at Total village in Narok.
The gang had descended on a rental building, robbing tenants of their possessions and injuring a student at Maasai Mara University before fleeing the scene.
However, a pursuit by the officers led to the apprehension of the three, with the authorities recovering the stolen items. "Police officers from Narok Police Station have netted three suspects linked to a string of robbery with violence incidents in Narok town and its neighboring areas," DCI revealed.
