The Nakuru Rugby Football Club (NRFC) has received a significant financial boost, bolstering their preparations for the highly anticipated Great Rift Nakuru 10s tournament, scheduled for April 19th-20th, 2025, at the iconic Nakuru Athletics Club.
The club secured a substantial Sh500,000 donations from the Office of the Governor, Nakuru County, a move hailed as a testament to the county's commitment to sports development.
This funding is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the team's training regime and ensuring the smooth execution of the tournament, a key fixture in the regional rugby calendar.
Adding to the financial support, prominent Nakuru businessman David Kanene contributed Sh100,000, further demonstrating the community's backing for the local rugby scene.
