Heavy traffic and disruptions are to be expected on major highways due to the transportation of an abnormal load set to pass through key road sections.
According to a notice published in a local daily, the extra-wide and heavy load will traverse the country from Mombasa to Malaba, causing traffic disruptions in Nairobi, Nakuru, and Eldoret, among other areas.
The cargo will be using the Nairobi-Mombasa highway before transitioning past the capital.
According to the notice, sections of Central Kenya, including Embu, Sagana, Karatina, and Nyahururu, will also be affected by the convoy.
