Lurambi Member of Parliament Titus Khamala has pledged to offer free counselling services for police officers stationed in his constituency.
The MP said police officers are human beings like other people who need love and support while going on with their duties of ensuring peace and order in the society.
He was speaking when he toured the Bukura Police Station on Tuesday where a police post was constructed by the Lurambi National Government Constituencies Development Fund(NGCDF) to provide a conducive environment for police officers.
Khamala noted that police officers go through strenuous work assignments where some become stressed and battle depression.
