Frankford Karanja Mogire, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) photographer and the only survivor of the deadly chopper crash that killed Kenya's former Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Francis Ogolla, has made his first appearance a year after the incident.
His appearance, however, stirred online debate after he was pictured with President William Ruto. "Cameraman is the guy who survived the plane crash that was carrying CDF Ogolla.
I said if you still believe in coincidences, then you are not paying attention...," one Kenyan online alleged.
Clad in a tight-fitting suit, Mogire was pictured photographing the president on what seemed like a normal working day for him; however, the picture rattled some Kenyans, with some of them questioning why he was pictured with Ruto.
