The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has urged candidates who qualified to join university to submit their applications before the deadline.
This comes after Ministry of Education officials expressed concern that more than half of the students who scored Grade C+ and above had yet to submit their applications.
Addressing the press on Thursday, April 17, officials from the Ministry of Education, KUCCPS, and the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) urged candidates to utilise the remaining two weeks to apply for their preferred courses.
According to KUCCPS Director for Placement and Career Development, John Oluoch, more than 100,000 candidates who qualified to join university had not submitted their applications.
