Drama unfolded after a Nairobi Imam stabbed two individuals at Taqwa Mosque in Njiru in an alleged dispute over the mosque's leadership.
The dispute arose after two rival factions engaged in a squabble over the running of the mosque, which had even prompted the response of police officers.
According to reports, the officers were able to quell the situation and left the mosque.
However, it was upon their departure that all hell broke loose, after the disgruntled Imam descended upon the mosque with a court order claiming leadership.
