The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced a seven-day application window for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates seeking to enrol in various tertiary programmes.
The placement service, in a notice on Wednesday, April 23, said the application window targeted candidates seeking to enrol in either a degree or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses.
KUCCPS revealed that the application portal would be closed on April 30, upon the lapse of one week, locking out several non-compliant learners who would not have tendered their application on time.
While calling for timely applications, the placement service noted that degree course applications only targeted those who sat for the KCSE in 2024, while TVET courses targeted between 2000 and 2024 KCSE candidates.
