Uasin Gishu County administration has taken another significant step toward empowering the youth after pumping at least Ksh 15 million to local vocational training centres.
The investment includes the distribution of modern tools and equipment to the county's 13 Vocational Training Centers (VTCs), which play a vital role in providing young people with the skills needed to excel in today's job market. "Our youth are at the heart of our education agenda.
Equipping them with practical skills is key to unlocking their potential and preparing them for success in a competitive job market," noted Governor Jonathan Bii.
He emphasized that hands-on skills are increasingly crucial in today's fast-evolving job market, and that the county's VTCs are essential in equipping young people with the knowledge and expertise required to seize these opportunities. "With this Sh 15 million investment, we are ensuring that our VTCs are well-equipped to provide top-notch practical training.
