Kajiado residents have urged the area county government to prioritise the completion of stalled projects in the 2025/2026 financial budget.
Speaking during public participation forums on the finance bill 2025/2026 organised by the county, the residents said that there are so many stalled projects in the county which are turning out to be white elephants yet huge amounts of public money was spent.
Moses Lenchasho, a resident of Matapato North said that all stalled and incomplete projects should be completed first as stalled projects are a huge loss to the Kajiado taxpayers.
He pointed out that there is no need to start new projects when there are those that have stalled for years yet they were allocated taxpayers money. "A project like the Oloosuyian dispensary for example has stalled for years.
