The Transport Licensing Appeals Board (TLAB) has announced the immediate suspension of the Acacia Shuttle Sacco that plies Kisumu routes.
In a statement on Monday, April 28, the board noted that it had upheld the suspension after a recommendation by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
The matatus from the sacco have since been ordered to cease operations immediately. "The Board has upheld the suspension of Acacia Shuttle Sacco vehicles (E033/24), plying Kisumu routes as previously requested by NTSA.
With immediate effect, they cease operation," TLAB noted.
