Veteran journalist and Spice FM radio host Edward Kwach has died after a long battle with illness, which saw him admitted to a Nairobi hospital a fortnight ago.
His demise was confirmed by family spokesperson Michael Okwiri, who revealed that the deceased passed away on the night of April 28, 2025.
Kwach passed away while undergoing treatment after he was diagnosed with meningitis, an inflammation of the meninges, the protective membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord.
Okwiri, while mourning Kwach, termed the latter as not only a person who would be remembered for his warmth but also his exceptional taste for music.
