Following reports that a Full Gospel Church in Clay City, Kasarani, was still perpetuating noise pollution despite several reports to the Nairobi County officials, the county's Chief Environment Officer, Geoffrey Mosiria, has responded.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, April 28, Mosiria noted that the church had been granted a notice on March 21 to, among others, reduce the amount of bass speakers to reduce the amount of noise emanating from the church. "Thank you for sharing this information on social media.

I wish to bring to the attention of Clay City residents in Kasarani Subcounty that we have already issued the church with a notice dated 21/03/2025, requesting them to stop noise pollution," Mosiria stated. "Failure to comply will now necessitate enforcement action, which includes arrest and prosecution in accordance with the law." An undated photo of the Full Gospel Church in Clay City, Kasarani.

Photo Cyprian Nyakundi Mosiria also shared a copy of the notice issued to the church, showing that it had been cited for noise pollution, causing a public nuisance to the residents.
