Nominated Murang'a County Assembly MCA Agnes Wanjiru has fallen victim to the latest tactics of robbers who are targeting cars parked in different parking lots in the area, particularly banks.
In a recent incident, the nominated MCA Wanjiru was the latest victim after her vehicle was broken into, and Ksh990,000 was stolen. ''It was Ksh990,000, we had kept the money, and then we went to a nearby hotel to have some tea.
Upon coming back, I was shocked to find that my car's mirror had been broken and the money stolen," Wanjiru narrated.
Another victim, a businessman by profession, also narrated how the robbers descended on his vehicle, used a master key, and stole over Ksh300,000 meant for his business.
