The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has issued a notice warning of a planned service disruption on Thursday, May 1, between 12am and 11:59pm.

In a notice issued on April 30, the authority noted that the disruption would only affect systems at the Kilindini Port to facilitate a planned fiber migration exercise. "Planned System Outage at Kilindini Port On Thursday, 1st May 2025, KRA systems at Kilindini Port will be inaccessible from 00:00 hrs to 23:59 hrs to facilitate a fiber migration exercise," part of the notice read.
