Homicide detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have made progress in probing the murder of Kasipul Member of Parliament, Charles Were.
He was assassinated on the evening of Wednesday, April 30, on Ngong Road, near the City Mortuary roundabout by suspected gunmen who were trailing him, with reports now indicating that he was shot four times.
Even as detectives continue to piece together the identity of the person believed to be the prime suspect behind the gruesome murder of Were, CCTV footage obtained by the police revealed the suspect.
Other than relying on the CCTV footage, the DCI officers also took into consideration witness accounts from the lawmaker's driver and bodyguard in pursuit of the killers.
