Police are yet to arrest the key suspect behind the highly unprecedented incident that saw President William Ruto narrowly escape a flying shoe unscathed on Sunday.
The Head of State brushed off a shoe aimed at his head while addressing a crowd during his working tour in Kuria West, Migori County.
According to videos shared online, the shoe emerged from the crowd and was heading towards his head when he used his raised arm to divert it past him.
According to police sources, despite apprehending three suspects, police in Migori County, in collaboration with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), are hot on the heels of the primary suspect.
