The Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has written to the Senate asking it to take action against nominated member Gloria Orwoba she accused of speaking lies about him regarding alleged fake foreign jobs.

Orwoba has accused Mutua of being behind a controversial diaspora jobs programme, alleging that some Kenyans have been defrauded through the scheme.

And on Wednesday, May 7, the CS said: "Senator Gloria Orwoba might actually be impeached for spreading lies about me." Mutua, who spoke during an interview with Spice FM, said he has asked the Senate to take action against Orwoba.

He said he is also keen to prove that the accusations she has been making against him, accusing him of tolerating fake diaspora jobs, are false.
