The Narok land row has taken a new twist as more controversies emerge in the ownership and succession.

Two family factions are pulling from extreme ends as one faction now claims to be the rightful owners and has agreed to sell the land to the State, dismissing the faction led by Mr.

Moses Cheluget.

In a press briefing on Saturday in Nairobi, the new faction led by former Principal Secretary Nancy Kirui revealed that they have reached a consensus with the government to relinquish the 5800-acre property in Narok South to the State to settle squatters. "Just as the President Stated, we are in engagement with the government on this matter and we've already made an offer to sell the land to the government to settle the squatters," she said.
